There are some places still available in the next IGRO Consultation & Learning Groups for Senior Women Managers that will commence as from 7 November 2016.
We have designed these new groups based on the excellent feedback from the three groups that have already taken place. The groups comprise 8 sessions of 2 hours over a 6-month period (Autumn 2016 – Spring 2017). They provide a confidential learning space for up to 10 women to explore their experience of being a senior manager in the current workplace environment.
The Groups are facilitated by two experienced IGRO members, Bernie McDonnell and Marie Carroll.
The venue is Group Analytic Practice (GAP), Global House, 29 Lower Abbey St., Dublin 1.
Please send your completed application form to firstname.lastname@example.org before 31 October 2016.
Purpose of the Group
The purpose of the Group is to provide a confidential and facilitated space for women managers to explore themes and experiences that emerge in their roles and workplaces. These may relate to issues associated with: power; competition; collaboration; risk-taking; gender; creativity; change and work-life-balance. In particular, the Group will provide women with an opportunity to explore the impact of organisational life (at a conscious and unconscious level) on the individual manager/leader, the staff group/team and the organisation.
